The following synopsis is taken directly from the Good Reads website which you can view HERE.
It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.
I must laugh as above it says "chance brings them together".. not quite! I absolutely loved this book, it was so raw and real! The first book was told by Mia, it was her story and her life from her perspective and this book was told by Adam. His story was fantastic, so well written!
This book definitely answers everything you were left wondering when I finished the first book, it told of the horrible years that followed this unimaginable accident and how it affected Mia and Adam's lives, that they were leading separately. It was extremely interesting to see how their lives unfolded and how they were effected by their loss of a family, as well as each other.
It seemed unlikely that their paths would cross and yet unlikely that they wouldn't. I didn't expect exactly how they would but it lead to an amazing nights full of tears, answers, closure and ultimately new beginnings.
I am a sucker for happy endings but I must say in reading both books I didn't hope the book ended with Mia and Adam rekindling their one of a kind romance, I hoped for peace for both them to be able to move on, where ever life was going to take them.
If you are like me and only read series when all the books are out, grab this one! The books were cheap to buy and they were fantastic books! I can see myself read these again!
I hope you guys are having a great week!!
