Birch Box November

Good Afternoon all,

It is miserable and rainy out today which I suppose is better then the snow that everyone else is getting, having said that I don't think we are going to avoid that mess for very much longer. Tomorrow is suppose to be the coldest day that we've had and the wind is suppose to be really bad, which makes me anxious on account that the wind is always bad here.

Anyways I thought I would stop in today and chat about my most recent Birch Box. I have been planning a post about the products I have received and what I think about them but I just haven't used all of it yet, so in the meantime I thought I would talk about this months box in the meantime.

Before we get into that though I am going to make this post a little more versatile and side step the makeup stuff for a second and discuss Sunday football. We went out and watched the afternoon games yesterday and let me tell you they didn't play out as I had predicted in my weekly picks, although if I am being honest this isn't necessarily unusual. Naturally we Patriots fan in this house so we were most looking forward to the night game when they took on the Indianapolis Colts.

I will say the game didn't start off as we had hoped, after the first interception was thrown I figured it was a good time to have a quick shower before the game got too far in. When I got out of the shower I heard Jason say "This is the worst thing I could have ever imagined.." I thought he was on the phone and I was worried something bad had happened, so I flew into the front room and he was talking to himself about Brady throwing another interception!! I couldn't help but laugh, not at the way the game was going but how personally Jason takes it all.

Needless to say if you watched the game you know that the Patriots turned things around in true Patriots fashion and whooped the Colts in Indianapolis! Brady and Gronk were stars as usual but I have to give a shout out to someone you probably hadn't heard of until last night, Jonas Gray! Where have the Patriots been hiding this rock star?? Gray scored 4 TOUCHDOWNS!!!! Seriously. If you get a minute read THIS article, its pretty impressive! This guy is not only awesome, he's humble! Hello typical Patriot (minus Gronk usually, haha!). 45-20 win for the Patriots!! THANK YOU JONAS GRAY!!!

OK, I'm done! But seriously.. this was his 4th NFL game I believe and he scored 4 touchdowns, I mean its crazy!

Back to Birch Box stuff though, the actual point of this post.. I knew I would ramble when I started that rant but I couldn't help myself, it was ramble worthy as far as I am concerned.

So last week I got another Birch Box from the subscription Jason got me for my birthday and I was extremely excited. Tanya actually got her box first and opened it while I was with her and she got some great stuff, it made me extremely excited to get my own box. I was extremely happy with what I got this month and am excited to share it with you!

(my apologies for the crappy pictures, I am not dealing with the best lighting today!)

Curl Keeper by Curly Hair Solutions
This water based gel, new from the brand adds definition and hold to curls and waves. Apply to wet hair and comb through, let air dry. To reactive hold later, slightly dampen hair.
This is obviously the sample size but it retails in full size from $9.99- $17.50.

I have yet to try this product but I was super excited to get it, as you know I have out of control curly hair and I think this could be a great product for me. There is quite a bit of product which is also great as I do have a lot of hair and sometimes sample sizes just aren't enough product for me. I will let you know what I think of this when I try it!

(blogger pisses me off when it wont post the pictures the way they appear everywhere else)

dr. brandt Pores no more, vacuum cleaner.
Award winning gel that degunks pores for few blackheads and smoother skin. Two or three times weekly, apply thin layer to areas of concern. Rinse after 5-10 minutes. This is obviously a sample size but again there is a ton of product here and I think it will last through quite a few uses. This product retails in full size for $45.00. You see this is the hard thing about Birch Box, you find something you love and fall in love with it.. then have to pay a fortune if you want to continue using it.

I have yet to use this product and I wont lie my skin is EXTREMELY sensitive so I am always really anxious about trying new products in fear I will break out but I was really excited to see this product and will definitely report back!

Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips
Originally made for nursing moms, this ultrahydrating balm is a makeup artist fave. Dab onto parched lips, cuticles and elbows if needed. This product retails in full size for $14.50.

Let me just say this product totally creeped Jason out! I left my Birch Box out and when he came across that his reaction was priceless. I have actually heard really great things about this stuff and plan to put it on my bedside table when the one I am using is currently gone. I like to use a super hydrating lip treatment at night because the cold weather makes me really dry and I think this is going to work great. Again, I will report back.

Not Soap, Radio - Awash in a field of four leaf clovers body wash
This cleanser is infused with real four leaf clover extract and green tea. Massage generously into damp skin then rinse away, or add a dollop to your bath.

As you can tell I have actually used this product and I'm not going to lie, I don't like it. I was excited to give this a try because I absolutely love bubble bath and I needed some! Well I don't really know what to say, this stuff doesn't have a scent, it definitely doesn't create bubbles, the few it does don't last more than 5 minutes. This product retails full size for $16.00, but let me tell you I wouldn't waste my money. Sorry.

theBalm Cosmetics - Cindy- Lou Manizer
This shimmery, soft pink highlighter perks up your features with a natural looking glow. Sweep onto cheekbones or eyelids, or lightly dust onto face for a luminous look.

I was super excited to see this in my Birch Box, I have wanted to try the Balm cosmetics for a really long time because I have just heard the best things about it and this is a super exciting product. I love that its versatile and has more than one use, it really is such a pretty color and its not powdery at all. I think that it would make a great highlight shade but is buildable and could be used for a gorgeous eye shadow shade or high light for the brow bone. I cannot wait to use to product and have no doubt it will live up to all my expectations!

I also got a little bonus chocolate, pink himalayan crystal salt caramel which in full size retails for $20! I'm not going to lie though, as much as I am not a big fan of chocolate I would pay the $20.00 for that baby!

There you have it folks, my November Birch Box! If you are interested in purchasing a Birch Box you can visit their website HERE, or if you are interested in any of the products I have shared you can find them on their website at all.

I hope you all have a great week, I do plan to be back around these parts tomorrow!

High Five for Friday 11.14.2014

Hi guys,

I had all the intention of actually getting this post out there this morning but I didn't write it last night and went out this morning and only got home about a half hour ago! I've been extremely slack this week and I really do apologize for that, I just didn't have anything to say and never felt like sitting down and writing.. so I just didn't. Sometimes I guess I need a little break and so this week I took it. I would like to promise that next week will be better but I promised that last week and I clearly lied! HA! So I wont make the same promise twice, lets just see what happens shall we?

So lets talk about my week shall we, or its highlights rather! I will tell you one thing that will not be making the list.. the damn cold!! I don't know when winter rolled in but it sure as hell did and if you cant find me next week I probably hitch hiked back to the freakin' south! I kept telling myself it would be fine, I was worried about the wind off the river but I seriously thought I could get by.. I mean hello, I am Canadian! NEGATIVE! I froze my rather large tush off today while out and came home cursing up a storm about the flippin' north! GOOD LORD! How many months until spring?

Lets just be clear, this will not be my only rant about the winter... I can pretty much guarantee that!

Anyways, the good stuff!

1. Last Sunday Jason and I headed into the city for the entire day! I'm not kidding you when I say we walked every inch of that city! We had went to check out a few ski shops as Jason was on the hunt for new ski goggles. We eventually made our way down to Central Park and let me tell you it was absolutely GORGEOUS! It was a great day for it, the park was in its prime for fall foliage, it was just beautiful! I took a ton of pictures I should share but here is just one!

The day was truly fantastic, we got home chilly and tired ready to curl up on the couch for some football and Jason made dinner. I know I come here often to brag about the fact that my husband cooks and is actually good at it but I really thought this one deserved a mention as I wasn't really looking forward to it. We are huge fans of turkey pot pie around here and Jason usually makes it with a traditional crust and its fantastic. He decided that he wanted to make a turkey pot pie with biscuits this time and I wasn't too keen.. I am a creature of habit and I know I like it the other way and on top of that I don't like soggy bread and I didn't think there was a way to avoid that with said meal... well, I was wrong. Dinner was absolutely fantastic!!

It was as good as it looks!!

2. While we are on the subject of food I thought I would share my new most exciting find! Salt & Vinegar almonds! Good lord I saw these in the grocery store the other day with Tanya and we both got them. They are absolutely addicting, they tastes EXACTLY like a salt and vinegar chip but obviously better for you. I have already finished the little tin and am anxiously awaiting my next visit to the grocery store. If you can get these I highly recommend them, I also love chipotle peanuts.. nuts these days people! I'm tellin' ya!

Lets just throw out an honorable mention in the food category...

Birthday cake M&Ms!!!! Yes they are amazing, yes you need to try them!!

3. Because the weather is definitely getting colder and the beautiful fall foliage is inevitably coming to an end I am basking in all its beauty every single day! I feel like its been a little short lived here, the weather was quite wonky all through the fall and now its quite cold and the leaves will soon be gone. Funny how fall is the only season that flies by, literally.

This is outside out apartment this afternoon, leaves on the ground, beautiful colors in the trees and sun in the sky.. if only it wasn't freezing it would be just PERFECT!

4. Wednesday night Jason and I went to the Bergen Town Center outlets. We wanted to find an REI outside the city in hopes that they would have a larger selection of ski goggles for Jason to try on and we had hoped that there would be an Ulta near by because I really wanted to go and I had a free birthday gift waiting (Calvin Klien mascara I really wanted!!) and it just so happened that they were both at the outlets!! I was so excited to be going and beyond excited when we arrived, we ventured to REI first, dinner and then the mall. I won't lie I was a little disappointed, the only place I seriously cleaned up was the Gap, everything else I didn't really feel like there were much for deals considering it was the outlet! I did however get some great stuff at Gap and got to tour around Ulta.. all in all it was a really good night!

5. Today I got my Birchbox!! I swear I couldn't love the birchbox subscriptions anymore! I love that its the gift that keeps on giving as you get one every month and I am never disappointed in what I receive in my box. I will probably write a post on this months box and its content so stay turned for that!

So there it is guys! Jason is working tomorrow and I might head into the city with Tanya in the morning for a craft fair. Tonight Jason and I are headed to Target for some groceries and touring around. We don't have much planned for Sunday, just some football which is great in my books!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!

Blogger Fail

Hi guys,

I know, I know the blog totally took a hit this week and I haven't been around! I would like to give you some really good excuse as to why but seriously.. I got nothing. Sometimes believe it or not I just don't have anything to say!!

Its been a quiet week, but I have to say I have really gotten a ton of Christmas shopping done and I feel so good about that. At this rate I have everyone confidence that I will be done my shopping by the beginning of December and let me tell you I don't think that has ever happened. Its always my goal, I always have high hopes but truthfully the second week of December I can usually be found sitting with the laptop sobbing because I need to order a few more gifts and have no ideas.. true story!

So that's my scoop, I will be back tomorrow with a High Five for Friday and I really hope to get on track next week!

I hope everyone is having a good week, sorry again for the radio silence!

Cheers!

High Five for Friday 11.7.14

Good Afternoon Y'all!

Oh guys the weather here today is NASTY!!! I just ran out to pick up my rings at the jewelers and I nearly blew into the Hudson. The wind here is often out of control but last Sunday and today really take the cake! They aren't calling for rain today but the clouds are awful and it would appear that something is blowing in.

Anyways its been a really quiet week, the weather hasn't been fantastic but I did manage to get together five things to share with you all today. I'm sorry the content this week has been lacking around here, I have a ton of things I want to write about around here but I just cant seem to get it together this week and actually do the writing! Its on my 'to do' list tomorrow and if its on my list I tend to get it done.. keep your fingers crossed for me!

So what were the highlights of my week?

1. Steve and Christina were soooo unbelievably kind and ordered me an awesome Patriots shirt for my birthday and I wore it for the first time this week.. LOVE! I really wanted to link it here for you because I think you all should have one too but apparently its sold out. I checked NFL.com and Fanatics.com and neither seem to have it anymore! I guess I got mine just in time! I didn't get a picture of me wearing the shirt, and now they don't have it online.. go figure! Sorry! Check my Instagram and I will make sure to have one up there soon!

2. Tuesday was Jason's birthday and we went to dinner at Fire & Oak in the Westin Hotel here in Jersey City. Honestly most often fancy restaurants don't appeal to me because I am such a fussy eater that nothing really appeals to me. The place was absolutely amazing though, the atmosphere was really nice, the food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! If you are ever in the area and have the change to stop for a meal, I couldn't recommend that place more!

3. Last weekend (obviously these are not in order) Jason and I went into the city and toured around and then made our way to Dalys, the bar that we basically lived at when we lived in New York a couple of years ago. We absolutely loved it there, we spent more time there then I care to actually admit.. we'll just say we were on first name basis with pretty much everyone there haha! Anyways we haven't been back since we moved here and let me tell you it is as good as I remembered!! The new bartender is great, the beers were good and cheap, the atmosphere was great and they still order Dino's pizza every Sunday for football.. GOOD TIMES! I definitely want to go back, it made me miss living there! #Memories.

4. Tanya and I knew that Thursday was going to be super nasty weather so we decided to get out on Wednesday and make the most of the day. We toured down to Hoboken, grabbed coffee and went down along the river to Castle Point which has the most amazing view! We spent some time there and then toured back through the city. It was a lot chillier that day than it was suppose to be but I was so glad to get out and go for a walk. We hadn't been down there since the summer and although it wasn't the best day the spot is just gorgeous!

 Finally some picture.. right?

5. I put my wedding rings in to be cleaned last week because being white gold they need to be replated every once in awhile. I don't like to send them in because I had a bad experience once where I got them back extremely damaged and it ended up being a whole ordeal, but I got them back today and let me tell you I forget how amazing they look when they have just been redone. I love my rings so much, I felt naked all week not having them on and I couldn't be happier to have them back!!

So that was my week! Jason is working tomorrow and I am not sure what Sunday holds for us, we had intentions of going into the city to see if we could get Jason some new ski goggles but the place we were intending to look only carries on brand and it isn't the brand he would like so we might take a drive somewhere out of the city and see what we can find. The Patriots have the week off so we don't need to be home for a certain time for the game!

I am off to wash my make up brushes and have a tea, this cold and gloomy weather makes me want to live in my sweats and drink tea, haha not completely productive!

I hope you all had a great week and enjoy the weekend ahead!

Confessions 11.06.14

Good Afternoon,

Its nasty here today let me tell you, it is pouring rain, foggy and miserable.. not good! But knowing it was coming Tanya and I made a point of getting out for most of the day yesterday and really enjoying it!

I don't have a lot to say today to be honest, I have been on a roll with blog posts lately and always have a backlog in my drafts but right now I am out and don't feel much like writing. Who knows maybe that will turn around later on today or something!

In the meantime.. here are some of my thoughts...

// My hair is driving me bananas, I need to trimmed and thinned BAD but everywhere wants an arm and a leg to do it (not literally) and I refuse. I'm sick of it all round, it's falling out like crazy, it won't grow, I want to change the color.. I need a change! I go through this with my hair at least twice a year.. so that's where I am right now.

// Jason and I have accomplished a lot of our Christmas shopping for family and I feel sooo incredibly good about that. Usually we wait until last minute and buy things for the sake of buying them and I get extremely stressed! Hoping to avoid that this year.

// I'm really home sick! I'm hoping we'll get there for a visit soon.. It's so hard being away sometimes and worse knowing there's nothing you can do about it. We are aiming to go for 4 days over the
upcoming Thanksgiving holidays but who knows if that will be possible.

// I'm sucking at the football pool this year, it's my own fault.. I was overly confident in my head before it started!

// My sleep patterns are all wonky for some reason and therefore I've gotten very little sleep this week. #notahappycamper

// I need to lose weight, a lot of it. I'm not happy with myself but going to the gym has been hard with my arm being out of sorts.

// I want to be reading and haven't picked up my book in two weeks or more, I don't know what my problem is.

// Our apartment is always freezing, tea keeps me warm.

// I have a shopping for clothes problem, I like it way too much! I find something I like everywhere, most often don't buy it and then can't get dressed the next day because I feel like I have nothing good to wear! #giftcardsforchristmasplease

// I have no winter boots, on purpose hoping it will deter the mother effing white stuff from showing itself.

// We order from an amazing Chinese place here and this week I decided to try Lo mein for the first time... I'm addicted, I want it for every meal which is hard because it's gone! #cantstopwontstop

// Apparently I'm loving hashtags today.

// Country music makes me want to live in the south forever, maybe even on a farm (or a house with land) and have a white picket fence. Yes I just watched the CMAs.

// I've been wanting to bake banana bread for weeks but haven't bought bananas. I'm good like that.

// I hate our grocery store by the apartment, its ghetto as all hell and truthfully probably not all that safe.

// I love a good 'to do' list.. it keeps me motivated.

Ok I'm done.

The Big 30!

Today is Jason's 30th birthday, I'm not going to get into the mush.. although trust me I have thought about it. But I am going to say this..

Babe I know you're not thrilled about turning 30 and I have to say I don't know why, you should be so proud and of the man you are and where you are at this point in your life, I know I am so proud of you. Every single day you I am thankful for you and all your bring to my life! I hope your day is wonderful, I love you to the moon and back and I am so proud to call you mine!

Wishing only the most amazing things for you this year, and I feel so lucky to be apart of it!

I wish you didn't have to work today and we could spend the day together but I have a few things lined up for when you get home!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Products I'm Loving October 2014

Good Morning,

So there has been a lot of product talk lately, for those of you who are less interested in these sort of post I do apologize! I try and space them out and keep a variety going around here but sometimes this is just what I feel like talking about. Truth be told at this point in my life I am more into make up, skin care, beauty and fashion more than I ever have been and because its a huge interest of mine what better place to share.

Looking back I actually haven't done a products I am loving post since July which seems crazy to me because I tend to try new products here and there and I'm lucky that most of them work for me. I have a feeling with my Birch Box subscription and hopefully a try home soon I will have more to share.

So shall we get into what I've been loving lately?

1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser and Dark Spot Corrector

I'm getting old guys, I just had a birthday and it was time to bust out the age rewind with hopes that things don't get any worse. Its not really a matter of damage control but prevention! Truth be told I was interested in trying a new concealer when mine ran out and this was the same price as the one that wasn't age rewind so I figure why not! I had reservations about this because of the sponge on the end, I feared it would get dirty and gross but that isn't the case as all.

I really like this product, it gives great coverage and highlight to the under eye and where ever else applied. I do set it with a press powder but have no had any issues with it creasing throughout the day. I don't find it to be really heavy like a lot of concealers which I really like and I know it may strike you as odd for me to say this, but it smells fantastic!

I cannot recall any other makeup product from the Maybelline line that I have tried, I have used their mascaras as well as eye shadows but nothing foundation wise and I am very happy with it. It is reasonably priced and I would absolutely purchase it again.

I purchased mine at Bed Bath & Beyond but you can purchase it HERE at Target for $6.99! For your reference I believe I purchased mine in the color: Fair Light.

2. Big Sexy Hair Blow Dry Volumizing Gel

I know what you're thinking, what could I possibly need volumizing gel for.. well let me explain. I don't actually use this throughout my hair, I use it just at my roots! My hair is really heavy and therefore because of the weight I tend to lose volume at the top of my head. When I get out of the shower I go through my normal hair routine and then apply this to my damp roots before blow drying. I don't use this all the time, sometimes I will even apply it to dry hair and then blow dry the roots quickly just to give it a boost and it works great!

I love the Big Sexy Hair spray and stay hair spray so when I came across this on sale for less than half price I figured why not give it a try. I cannot vouch for the volume it would give throughout your hair if you applied it all over before blow drying but like I said I have considerably heavy hair because its so thick and it really works for me.

I have used a lot of actual root boosters, which this technically is not (Big Sexy Hair actually has their own root booster) and some work and some don't. You can find these products in a variety of price ranges but for a random purchase because of a sale I couldn't be happier with the result. Big Sexy Hair products can be purchased at Target or Ulta.

3. The Body Shop White Musk Body Oil

First of all I just want to say I don't generally shop at The Body Shop anymore, we had a major falling out when we lived in Alaska due to their customer service and CRAP policies about shipping to Alaska when they had a store there. Then we moved back to the lower 48 and one of the associates at LUSH told me they test their products on animals. Naturally I boycotted them, and forced Tanya to do the same. Recently while watching Essie Button videos on Youtube I have been wanting to visit the store again.

I remember being in elementary school and LOVING the Body Shop body oils, mostly Sumatra and my cousin loved White Musk. I purchased this body oil quite some time ago and I suppose in all our moving and packing, unpacking and storing things it got lost in translation and I have only recently (in the last year) came across it and on occasion used it again. I have to tell you, I love this stuff! I love the smell of it, its the opposite of the fresh scents that I usually wear but its so cozy.

The oil itself is long lasting and once applied doesn't make your skin feel oily which is obviously a good thing. Now I will say that last week I broke, while walking by the Body Shop at the mall Tanya and I went in... I know, I know.. way to stick to my convictions! I didn't buy anything if that helps, but I came across a Red Musk that also smelled amazing! Like I said I didn't buy anything.. so I am staying away again.. or I just might!

4. Maybelline Color Sensational The Mattes Lip Color

I am so into lipsticks right now, I don't ever pick up a lip gloss ever and couldn't tell you the last time I did. I am loving the color variety that is out there, the different formulas and the packaging isn't half bad either! I suppose with my new love of makeup and different products I have come to learn the difference lipstick and color choice can make all the difference to your look.

I have completely fallen in love with Maybelline Mattes and let me tell you it was really hard to do so because it seemed impossible to get my hands on any of them! I was out for the 'Touch of Spice' color as I had seen it recommended by tons of beauty vloggers and thought it would be a great fall color. After searching and searching I finally found one at Bed Bath & Beyond and I loved it more than I had expected! The color is perfection, its extremely long wearing and for a matte it isn't drying at all.

Now I fell in love with it and then couldn't find it again!!! I would actually get pissed every time I would go into Target or Bed Bath & Beyond and they didn't have any out. I understand they were popular but RESTOCK! In my constant search I came across another color and figured why not grab another one seeings how I loved more than just the color, so I did. This time I purchased 'Lust of Blush' and I love it just as much.. I may even lean towards saying I wear it the most!

So the dilemma at hand, I have two of these lip sticks I absolutely LOVE and they are sold out everywhere. I know what you're thinking, I have two why am I still looking? Well I wish my brain worked like that, I just wanted to get my hands on more! So one night Jason and I wander down to Target randomly and as soon as I walk in the door I stop dead in my tracks, there was a MASSIVE display, fully stocked of the Maybelline Mattes! I didn't know what to do with myself and was already dreading the explanation I would have to give Jason when I bought 20 of these lipsticks. Don't worry I didn't buy 20, Jason would have had a stroke and I was way too happy about my lipsticks to deal with that so I just bought two! I got another 'Touch of Spice' for safe keeping obviously and a new color 'Darling Nude'.

I am telling you ladies, don't walk, RUN.. go to your local store where you buy your cosmetics and get yourself one of these babies! I cannot say enough good things about them! Go.. RIGHT NOW!

Oh, and so you don't think I am over the top about these things, although I don't think that's possible; I don't love that all the packages/caps are the exact same color. Its hard when I am digging for one and have three that look the exact same. Ain't nobody got time for that!

5. Olay Fresh Effects Bright On Schedule Eye Awakening Cream

This is a repeat in a way, I did a full review HERE on all the Olay Fresh Effects Products awhile ago but it hasn't been included in one of these posts so I am including it, plus.. I love it!

I have sleep problems pretty regularly and the longer it goes on the worse I look in the morning. This is the first under eye product I have used like this, generally I go straight to concealer and call it good! But when I fell in love with all the Fresh Effects products I thought why not give this one a try as well. Its really amazing to me how quickly this stuff makes a difference, especially when its mostly all natural!

In the morning I wash my face and give it a spritz of mineralized water, I let the water soak in a little and then I get out this baby! With this product a little goes a long way, I give it a little squeeze and roll it under both eyes. It soaks in almost immediately and then I got straight to my foundation, my concealer doesn't crease because of using this and it makes a visible difference in my dark circles.

Feel free to read my full review accessible via the link above, but I highly recommend this product, from what I hear it works just as good if not better then a lot of the high end ones available!

6. Bath & Body Works C.O Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine: VANILLAMINT

This isn't exactly a repeat, I talked about a different mentha lip shine HERE in March but I think I actually like this one better. I won't lie I think they are a little pricey, $7.00 for a lip gloss but I really love these. They smell absolutely incredible and when I have super dry lips these are what I go looking for! I have one by my bed specifically because although this is a thick lip gloss I can put it on before I go to bed and wake up and its still on! I swear I'm not magic or anything!

I frequent Bath & Body Works because I love all the different scents, all of their products are amazing and on my last visit I came across a fall variety of these lip glosses. I highly recommend the Orchard or Wild Madagascar Vanilla. Buy two get one free!! If I have convinced you, click HERE!

7. Nabisco Pumpkin Spice Oreo

Now before you all freak out, just know I am being honest! I don't like anything pumpkin really, I don't get excited about pumpkin spice lattes, I don't like pumpkin pie.. nothing. Having said that Jason pretty much loves all things pumpkin so during this time of year I tend to pick up things here and there that I come across because its seasonal and he likes to get his fill.

About a month ago, maybe less I was wandering around Target and came across these and thought Jason would absolutely love them! They were in the house for about a week before I gave in and tried one... I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked them. I can't say that they taste much like pumpkin spice, or not to me at least, to be honest Jason actually didn't like them. We have had them for about a month and he has maybe had 3 and there are about 2 left.. yes, I ate them. I'm not ashamed.

So if you are like me and generally disappointed by the fact that Fall is such an amazing time of year but none of the snacks call to you, I say buy yourself some pumpkin spice oreos!!

I know it doesn't seem like a lot but those are some products I am loving right now! Like I said with my Birch Box subscription I think I will have a lot more reviews around here! I am always interested in your opinions, if there are any products you are loving and think I might like please do share!!

I hope you are all having a fantastic week!!
