In Case You Didn't Know..

Good Evening,

I know this is a random time to post, or I suppose more so this just isn't a typical time that I would post! Either way I didn't figure I would blog today because I just haven't had a lot to say lately, shocker I know.. but then I got an email from Tanya that inspired me to stop by and fill y'all in on a few things, because why not?

Did you know that the Honest Company (Jessica Alba is the founder) has recently released a line of makeup and skincare? ME EITHER! Well until today when Tanya sent me an email informing me! As you know the Honest Company is an organic based brand developed with safe ingredients for your family and their well being. I have tried a few things from the Honest Brand here and there and have absolutely loved everything so I was super anxious to check out what they were offering for makeup.

The range is really new and therefore limited, just a few items for each area of makeup which is a great way to start I would think, test the waters and get some feedback. The packaging is gorgeous, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Makeup prices can range from drugstore which is reasonable and within most peoples budgets to medium priced items such as MAC and then you can go super high end as in Dior and Burberry which are very expensive and although I haven't tried any of these products judging from the company and products I have used that they have developed and the prices on their new makeup and skincare line I would absolutely give them a try!

If you wold like to check out the Honest Beauty you can do so by clicking HERE.

While I was on the makeup kick and checking out things online it reminded me to check back and see if one of my favorite brands were doing online shopping yet. If you remember when we lived in Jersey City they Newport Town Center had one of the very few Kiko Milano cosmetics stores in the States and at that time they did not offer the ability to shop online which was a major disappointment! I miss that store a ton, their makeup is high end quality for super cheap pricing and you really cant beat that. WELLLL... when I checked today you can officially shop online and get free shipping with any $35.00 purchase!!! If you have not checked out their makeup or skin care I cannot recommend it enough!

You can visit their website, HERE.

While we are on the makeup talk I have to just throw it out there that E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face) is a super unrated brand and they always have AMAZING deals online. If you follow them on Instagram you will see all the amazing sales and deals they offer on a very regular basis. You can purchase the basics in Target and quite a few other places now but nothing like they offer online. I have personally used items from their new skincare line and I absolutely love them, in checking online today I have noticed that since the last time I visited the store or online they have actually expanded their skincare range to include cleansers and exfoliators. They have released an amazing new brush line as well as added to their makeup line tremendously. Many of these items are often reviewed and raved about by YouTube Beauty Guru Kathleen Lights and if you visit her channel you can see those. If you are interested in checking out the ELF website you can do so HERE.

As if all that wasn't good enough, Ulta is currently doing their 21 days of beauty, you can view what they are offering each day online and I highly recommend you do! Everyday there is a special and often there is up to 50% off products, this week there was 50% off Too Faced lipsticks!! AMAZING! Today Stila eyeliners are buy one get one for free! If you are interested in what is coming up you can view that HERE.

So there you have it, lots of amazing products for really great prices online and available to you!

If you are not into online shopping.. I don't know why that would be.. BUT if you prefer to go into the store than I have a tip for you as well. Milani has recently released a limited edition liquid matte lipsticks! I wont lie I made a special trip to Walmart to get one or two and they didn't have them, so I made a special trip to Ulta and they didn't have them!!!! I have yet to make it to the Walmart here but its on my list!

I also need to find the pecan pie M&Ms but that's a whole different story!

Anyways I don't have a TON to say these days but I thought I would stop in and share these bits on info with you, because I would want to know!

I am off to get ready for the big game tonight.. I am SO HAPPY football is back!!! In case you were wondering NFL Shop has a ton of sale right now too. Just sayin'... but I'm done now!

True story... mostly.

Hope you guys had a great day!

Home Decor: Our Loft Space

Good Morning,

As you know we are coming around to the two year anniversary of when we bought our home and sadly because we don't see it all that much there has been a distinct lack of decorating that has happened, that and Jason's aversion to anything that isn't beige. Ugh. I am always thinking of things that I want to do to the house, and we talk about what areas we will decorate next and what we will do to it, we watch a ton of decorating shows where I point out to Jason as much as I can that decoration does not have to equal clutter.

Don't get me wrong there is TONS to be done to our house, sadly I feel that it doesn't really feel like a home because there is not much for decoration in it. Basically when we moved in we furnished the necessary spaces with the necessary items (all of which I love.. mostly.. those damn couches...) and then have SLOWLY worked away at the rest. We have done a lot to the office which at first was not a priority and although there are things I would like to change (carpet, I don't like it anymore. Don't tell Jason) mostly there are things we need to add. We have a bookshelf we would like to buy but have to be there to have it delivered, and we have pictures to hang but they cant go up until we get the bookshelf and decide 100% where it will go. Work in progress, none the less I love the desk and chair and am OK with the slow process there because there isn't much we can do about it at the moment and right now its still usable.

We are pretty much done with the spare bathroom and bedroom upstairs, I think I would like to get another picture of something for the upstairs bathroom but that will come with time. Same I suppose for the spare bedroom, we have a bed, dresser and night table in there, I would really like to change out the bedding and possibly put another picture up.. but again its functional so all in good time.

One of the only good things about not being at home all the time is that we can slowly work away at buying the things that we want and finding unique things. It also helps the bank account when you aren't decorating everything that once. Besides short of demanding a colorful accent chair for our living room downstairs and euro pillows for our bedroom (Jason is so resistant to everything) I think a lot about of upstairs loft space and what to do with it. We have talked about putting a TV up there with one of those IKEA couches like you can see HERE and making it like a little media area. Honestly this is not up there on my top choices on account that we have a huge living room with a big TV mounted on the wall and we have a huge TV in our bedroom, there are only two of us there to watch TV so really how many TVs do we need?

So I would naturally like to turn this space into a beautiful sitting/reading area! I know.. big surprise right? I think it would be a great place to have another bookshelf for books (which I have a lot of), it would be great to have some extra seating and just a quiet place to enjoy! Its also a place to enjoy a book with no distractions such as the TV (which is my selling point to Jason, I can read anywhere anytime no matter who or what is around but Jason is more distracted and this area would be PERFECT for him!). So I thought I would stop by today and share a few ideas that I have for this space and see what you guys think, maybe y'all can help me persuade Jason!

Of course where do you go for room inspiration.. Pinterest of course!

These two are somewhat of what I am thinking, nice decorative chairs with pillows and a small little table for a tea while reading. Naturally like in the picture directly above I would want to put a little lamp and some decorative accents to give the room a little lift. I do believe we have a picture we bought a few years ago from a gentlemen Jason worked with but sadly we have yet to get it framed.

Because the downstairs furniture as well as our bedroom is larger wood furniture I would definitely like to tone down the furniture in the loft space and give it more of a feminine feel to it.

In this picture above, obviously similar to the first two I feel the feminine vibe. The chairs are plush with soft edges and the accent pillows aren't too vibrant giving you a warm cozy feel. The white followers (although I would buy fake flowers) and the white washed table in between. I love this.

Also we paid a lot of money for blinds in our house and don't get me wrong they are amazing, easy to clean and I absolutely would no trade them I think because one whole wall of the loft space is large windows putting up some curtains, light of heavy depending on what design look we eventually went with would really set off the room. I feel that there are something about curtains that makes a room feel more cozy and we are lacking that in our living room. Side note - Jason was morbidly against curtains in the living room and I really wanted to do a heavy curtain on either side with something sheer in the middle to give the room a little more color because that particular wall is dark as well as give the room a more home like feel. We went back and forth for a really long time, neither of us willing to budge, we finally starting looking at curtains, fought about curtains for a long time then bought some. They were more ones that Jason liked and there was no sheer piece to go in the middle. Jason begrudgingly put them up and walked around for the next few days insisting he hated them. I gave up and took them back because it was easier than listening to him. I laugh about it now but at the time I was pissed.

I also love the idea of doing something like this! Still very soft looking but more inviting, lots of pillows and soft blankets to curl up with, again a table for tea or whatever your heart desires at the time only because there is a couch having it a little bigger to accommodate the length. Subtle accents so not to take away from the warmth and simple atmosphere in the room. I absolutely love this picture above and would be extremely happy with something like this.

I do not see us using this area to entertain, it would be more of somewhere to have some quiet time alone in a quiet space, and therefore it is no necessary to have a ton of seating such as a couch and we could if desired go a lot simpler with the picture below.

I have always wanted a chaise lounge and there are a huge variety to pick from but I do love the simplicity of the one above. If we decided to not furnish the loft space extravagantly (and I use that word loosely because I think these are all very simple ideas) then we could go more sparse with a chaise, small table and a book shelf.

Of all of these looks I would definitely like to include a bookshelf of time kind. I had always thought that we would get an IKEA bookshelf such as the one pictured below, I didn't intend to use the baskets however I don't hate the idea and we would just style something like this...

And although I am still not opposed to something like this because its on the cheaper end of things when it comes to bookshelves, it would be great for storage and is completely functional I would also love to find something a little more weathered with more character and if the opportunity was to present itself make it my own. If I could find what I was looking for at Good Will or a garage sale I would love to paint it myself and give it the exact distressed look I am going for.

Something like pictured above but in a distressed white state, as well as longer! I am not aiming to cover the entire wall in a bookshelf, as well depending on how we were to set it up the bookshelf could potentially be up against a half wall so I am look for it to be about this height but longer! I would say its probably going to be hard to find. Although I would say if you are looking for unique furniture with a rustic look World Market is an amazing place to look! I actually quite like THIS option from World Market!

I think the bookcase would be the hardest to find because I am so particular about what I am looking for, and trust me I have done a lot of looking for this post to be able to show you guys exactly what I am talking about and didn't have much luck!

For me personally (which is where Jason and I have a hard time) a room really comes together when you've added all your personal touches, a couch is just a couch until it has throw pillows on it, a dining room table is just a dining room table until you have a runner on it with flowers or candles. The personal touches you add are what makes it home, its what makes people come in and see your personality in all the little touches.

To me this room is perfect, its cozy and inviting the different pillows, different shape bring it all together. The pillows are all different textures, the basket on the table is simple but the candles dress it up. I like how they have used the clear glass vase for flowers but placed it on a stack of magazines to give it a higher elevation making it more of a focal point than it would have been sitting level and being simple. This room is inviting, someone spent time putting it together.

Accent pillows alone can really change the dimension and feel of a room as you can see HERE, in many different ways. You can use the colors, shape and patterns to liven up or tone down any setting and generally in a pretty affordable way!

So that's just a few ideas I have for our loft space, I don't know when we will ever get around to making it happen but a girl can dream right? I do like in a way that we can work away at things slowly and find the perfect pieces and make it ours, but at the same time I get such great satisfaction out of seeing a finished project and come on, looking at that picture above tell me you don't want to curl up on that couch in and amongst all of those amazing pillows and read the night away. No? Just me? I'm alright with that!

Are you decorating a room in your house right now? If so where do you get your inspiration and how do you turn an inviting picture into a reality in your home?

Products I'm Loving 4.21.15

Good Morning,

I thought I would pop in today and share with you a few products that I have been loving lately!

1. E.L.F Skincare Daily Hydration Moisturizer

As soon as I heard that e.l.f was coming out with a skincare line I was SUPER excited to give it a try. I personally think that e.l.f is an unrated brand and most people don't try it because they think because its cheap to buy its probably a cheap product and not worth it, I would say with these products most often them would be wrong. I use a ton of e.l.f products and have nothing but good things to say about them. Tanya and I were in the city a couple of weeks ago and popped into the e.l.f store, while looking around we both noticed how absolutely gorgeous the girl working there was, her face had this amazing glow and we had to ask her what products she was using. She said it was the skincare line, she said she wouldn't rave about it if she didn't truly believe it but her skin has felt and looked incredible since she started using it, then and there I knew I had to buy it.

This stuff is AMAZING! First of all I absolutely LOVE the simple packaging and the pump top! It has no parabens or sulfates and the ingredients are as follows: Purified water and essential nutrients help hydrate and nourish for glowing, healthy looking skin. This lightweight, lightly fragranced moisturizer is infused with skin nourishing Jojoba, Aloe, Vitamin E, and Cucumber to sooth and protect delicate skin. It's also rich in antioxidants such as Shea Butter, Grape, and Orange.

I have been using this for a couple weeks as my daytime moisturizer and I cant say enough good things about it. It is lightly scented but the scent does not linger, its lightweight and my makeup goes on flawless over top. You really cannot go wrong for $8.00 and I will definitely be repurchasing this!!

You might see a theme in the beginning here! I also recently purchased the e.l.f golden bronzer from Target for $3.00 after seeing a bunch of beauty vloggers rave about it on Youtube! There are 3 different shades that can be purchased depending on your skin tone so there really is something for everything. I am all about the bronze my friends, I use a bronzer every single day to tone down my ghostly-ness and as I am currently running out of the one I use everyday I thought I would give it a chance, how can you not for $3.00?? This particular shade has a sheen to it which I wouldn't usually go for in a bronzer but I really like it, it really warms up your face but doesn't look glittery. I don't use this to contour, or I have but just to give my face some overall color. I use a larger fluffy brush and swirl it around then apply it lightly to me face, it works fantastic. Its really blendable and doesn't cake or blotch on your face.. honestly you cant go wrong. If you are looking for something that will warm up your face as you are anxiously awaiting a tan then I suggest giving this a go!

I have been on the hunt for a powder highlight for some time, I think a highlighter can really change your whole look but good lord are they super expensive. I have a liquid one from MAC that I really like but I just thought a powder one would be nice to compare. I had hoped that e.l.f would have the baked highlighter in Moonlight Pearls but it was sold out in store and is online as well. I decided that I would try the Pink Diamonds as its basically going to blend with my blush anyways so the pink tone really shouldn't make that much of a difference. This stuff is AMAZING! Again for $3.00 you can't really go wrong, but I would seriously pay $10.00 for it now that I have used it! Its beautiful, the color is fantastic, its buildable and blendable and I cant get enough. This is really a great time of year to brighten up your look and if you are looking for a highlighter check out one of the three shades e.l.f offers!

I wont lie, I bought this because I had a coupon that basically made it half price.. what can I say I am a sucker for a good deal, plus I love lipsticks. When I went to Target to take a look at them I was really intrigued but the packaging, its super sleek and pretty and that definitely draws you in. All the colors are named after flowers too which is just too cute! I had saw these lipsticks talked about online and so I figured why not give it a try. I went with hydrangea because it was different from anything that I had and I thought really nice for spring and summer. This stuff is SUPER pigmented and if you are looking for a bold lip this is definitely up your alley. Its long lasting which is great and wears super nicely, doesn't feel drying or anything. I have been putting on a regular lip balm and then lightly dabbing this lipstick on to give my lips almost a tinted gloss look and I really love it. There is a huge variety of colors (20) and I believe something for everyone.

Sadly I cant find a really good picture and the link above is actually to the 'buff' color because I can't find the white one anywhere. I purchased mine at Target and I believe I paid $1.00 for it! I was looking for a white or nude color for my waterline as it REALLY brightens up your eyes, I hadn't actually tried this method at the time so I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I wasn't sure I would get use out of if I didn't like what I had bought it for. I came across the Wet n Wild stuff in Target one day and right there was a white eyeliner, I have heard people rave about their eye shadow palettes although I have never used one so I thought why not give it a try. Let me tell you it serves its purpose well. This stuff is pigmented, it goes on flawlessly and works great to brighten the inner corner of my eye as well. I don't wear a ton of eyeliner but if I was looking to try different colors or something I would definitely repurchase these!

This isn't really something I would normally buy, especially in this color but I was touring around Target one day (big surprise) and found this on sale from $7.99 so $1.12 or something crazy like that so I figured why not give it a try! Turns out its absolutely amazing and so I literally ran back to get more and they were all gone! Just my luck. Funny story I was super disappointed and then I lost the one I bought for a really long time, not to fear though I eventually found it. This stuff is really great, You can wear it by itself or over a nice base color, it has great staying power as well. I generally put a base on my eyelid, either a tinted eye shadow primer or a cream colored shadow and then I dab this over my lid and sweep it out with a brush to even it out. If you wanted a more bold look then you could use the applicator to blend it out if you would prefer. I really like this, its different and really makes your eyes pop, this is my first liquid eye shadow experience, well like this one and I must say.. I'm hooked!

That's it for today, I am sorry I know there are a few of you that read who aren't into makeup and I completely understand that but sometimes you just have to share the goods with others! If any of you happen to give any of these products a try or have please let me know!!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fantastic day!

Products I'm Crushing On.. MAC

Good Morning!!

Have I ever mentioned that I keep a running list on my phone of all the products I want to try! I come across so many products while perusing Target, watching beauty vloggers and so on but obviously its not realistic to just go out and buy everything.. trust me, the list is LENGTHY! I wish I could try more and more products to share with you all what I think and because obviously that would be amazing, but because that's not possible I thought I would stop in a share a few products that I would LOVE to try! When deciding to write these posts I figured it might be better to break them down by brand because they do very so today I am sharing with you some of the MAC products I am crushing on! There are way more than this but we don't have that kind of time! Maybe I'll do a part two sometime!

Two MAC products that I will rave about and am not sure I could live without are the MAC Mineralize Charged Water Revitalizing Energy, this stuff is amazing! I use it to prep my face for makeup and to set my makeup after I am finished so it wont move all day. Recently I have been spraying my foundation brush with it before I put my foundation on to sheer it out because I don't need a lot of coverage. This product is universal and as far as I am concerned an absolute MUST! As well a newer addition to my makeup routine the MAC Strobe Cream, its an amazing cream highlight that does wonder for highlighting your face and in the most natural way! If you are looking for a little extra sparkle in your foundation you can also add a bit to your foundation before applying! Check them out guys!

Ok, back to the point of this post.. products I DON'T have but would like to!

MAC Lipstick in Plumful

Everyone raves about MAC's lipsticks and their formulas. They have such a wide array of colors and they are super long lasting. I really don't think that $16.00 for a lipstick is a terrible price but I have drugstore favorites for half priced so I have never been able to convince myself to give in and buy one. That's not to say I don't have a HUGE list of their lipsticks I would like, there are about 20! I heard of Plumful from the fabulous Essie Button and not only do I whole heartedly trust every suggestion she makes, we have a very similar skin tone (ghostly) and this color looks fantastic on her! If you are on the hunt for a new lipstick I would definitely check out MAC's selection and Plumful for that matter!!

MAC Paint Pot in Painterly

I love cream eye shadows, I first fell in love with the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Cream shadows and still use them regularly. However they don't have a color in their line that is close to a nude which is exactly what MAC's painterly is. I feel like this would be a great primer for your eyelid, getting rid of the visible viens as well as a base for your shadow. This is another product everyone raves about, most people wear the nudes but there is a wide array of colors to try at a very reasonable price, cream shadows last forever!

MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Superb

For some reason I can't find this one the website, but I assure you its not the price appearing here on the Amazon link. I first came across this when Brianne was here visiting and she was using it and let me tell you, its GORGEOUS! She used it not only as a highlight but an eye shadow. There are a few colors of these extra dimension skinfinishes that I would like to try, but I think this one is on the top of my list. I have been really into highlighting as it can totally change your whole look and the fact that this can double as an eyeshadow makes it a great bang for your buck! For me this would be a summer use, when I have a little more color to my skin.

MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set in Empathetically Blonde or Toasted Blonde

I need a brow gel, I get by without one but I think it would be a nice addition to my brow routine to keep things in plan. I have been interested in a clear brow gel as I fill in my brows with a pencil anyways but because I have managed to grow them out and shape them to somewhat where I want I like the idea of trying a tinted brow gel like these so avoid having to use the pencil. Finding a clear brow gel has been a little hard than I expected and with a tinted one you have to match it to your hair pretty close and I think MAC carries the most options. This is something I haven't purchased on account that its not a must, I get by just fine with what I do now but it is something I am interested in purchasing. Do you use a brow gel? If so which one?

MAC Studio Face & Body Foundation in C1 or N1

I think I have mentioned recently that I switched from an actual foundation to a BB cream because I really don't need a lot of coverage and in the winter I was looking for as much moisture as I could get to avoid dry patches in the cold winter weather. I am really lucky that I don't really have problem skin but I like something that will even out my skin tone because I do get a little redness. Studio face and body foundation is super thin and therefore exactly what I am looking for, it gives minimal coverage. People always rave about MAC's foundation and if I were to buy one this would definitely be the one I would go for. MAC does carry a wide range of foundations from full coverage with a thicker formula all the way down to powder foundation! You can get color matched by a MAC professional which is always the best option as well.

MAC Mineralize Powder Highlight in Soft & Gentle or Global Glow

These are very similar to the extra dimension skin finish as listed above, these would be higher on my list as they are more sheen than super pigmented and I could use them all year round. They are multi use and absolutely gorgeous in color. As I said as any time of year a good highlight can really restructure your entire face and I use them all the time. Because of my skin color and hair color for that matter I tend to stick to neutral eye shadows and always give my face a little more warmth and color with a bronzer.. these would double as a bronzer/highlight in one! Great for a minimal makeup day!!

So guys those are just a few things I would love to try, I could seriously go on and on because there isn't much I wouldn't be interested in trying.. I am so into make up right now! What products do you use and love? Any ones from MAC?

Hope you're having a great day!!!

Products I'm Crushing On... 02

Good Morning,

I was thinking about making this a regular post around here because there are always products I am swooning over and wanting to try and sharing them here and possibly getting an opinion or two before putting out the money is never a bad thing.

I get my Ulta catalog sent here even though we don't have an Ulta here (damn shame) and so I am always keeping a list of things I am interested in trying when we go home. Not to mention with the change of season and what not different products can become more dominant in your daily routine and therefore finding the right one for you is important, or at least it is to me!

So what products am I crushing on right now and hoping will make it into my shopping cart sometime soon?

Benefit Cosmetics - Hoola Bronzer

I'm not going to lie having not tried this puts me way behind in the times! People have been raving about this baby for quite some time and now that I am getting low on my own I am thinking this will be my next purchase! As fall is coming to an end and my fantastic tan will inevitably fade I feel like a little bronzer in your daily makeup routine is a must if you are as naturally fair skinned as I am. I have read rave reviews about this for a very long time, all the popular beauty vloggers (that I follow) mention it often and because bronzer really does last me a long time I don't feel too bad spending $28.00 for this product. As you can see it also comes a long with a contouring brush (which I haven't heard much about) but would be very interested to try out.

If you are looking to get a little extra color this fall as your summer color fades I would recommend trying this, not everyone can be wrong about it? Right? If you are interested you can find it HERE at Sephora.

Benefit Cosmetics - POREfessional

This baby has been on my list for awhile, but because I wear significantly less makeup in the summer it has taken a back burner on the priority list! If the name doesn't speak for itself this product is meant to minimize the appearance of your pores! You put it on before your makeup and voila.. pores? where? You can apply this product with a brush (when viewing the product online at Sephora.com they give suggestions of appropriate brushes to use for application) although I have noticed most people apply the product with their fingers. Whatever works, right! 0.75oz of this product is $31.00 and truthfully I don't know if I think that is reasonable or not! If it works fantastic, I have always heard a little of this product goes a long way!

I would really like to give this a try and if you would too you can find it HERE online at Sephora.com.

Mario Badescu - Cucumber Cleansing Lotion

This bad boy targets T-zone shine control and overall deep cleansing of the face. If you are looking for something to really rid your pores of built up make up and dirty this might be something of interest to you as well. After washing your face morning and night you would apply this product to a cotton ball or pad, apply the product to the cotton applicator and then dab on skin, when finished apply moisturizer and go about your day! I will say I have tried many Mario Badescu products and not only are they super reasonably priced but they really work. I plan to pick this up while I am home and at Ulta!!

You can purchase these products at Ulta in store or HERE online. I believe you can also purchase these products at Sephora or online at the Mario Badescu website. This product in particular is $15.00 for an 8oz bottle.

TARTE - The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush

My Ulta magazine came the other night and this baby was in it and I have been swooning over it ever since. I firmly believe a good makeup brush is essential, I use quite a few makeup brushes everyday that range is quality and brands and you can definitely tell the difference. Sadly makeup brushes are extremely expensive, but having said that if you take care of them properly then can literally last forever (years!), I have had most of mine for a very long time! I feel like this would be a wonderful addition to my makeup brush collection (small collection) and I think although it is $32.00 it would last me forever and be the best brush I have ever owned (and most expensive).. this is going on my Christmas wishlist, a which point Jason's boy brain will cause him to have a meltdown about spending $32.00 for one small insignificant brush.. because he has NO IDEA!

If you think this brush is fantastic and want to give it a try.. Sephora sells it in store and online HERE.

Philosophy - Purity Made Simple Mask

I know, another mask. As I mentioned before I am more into taking care of my skin then I ever have been before and as I am aging I think making sure you use the right products is just as important now as it will be in 20 years from now. I really love Philosophy products, I use their face wash daily and couldn't love it anymore. I also just recently purchased their perfume in Loveswept and love that as well, therefore in my search for another great face mask this is at the top of my list. When you love a certain brand and their products work for you I think its inevitable that trying more and more will happen. The list of Philosophy products I would like to try is lengthy but this is the next on the list. It is a deep cleaning mask which is necessary at least once a week in my opinion, this product is $25.00 for 4oz.

You can purchase this product at Ulta HERE or online at Sephora HERE.

Bed Head - Rockaholic Dry Shampoo & Dry Conditioner

I am the biggest fan ever of dry shampoo, I have tried a bunch of different kinds. I tend to lean towards certain ones when I need to replenish but recently in my Ulta catalog I came across these bad boys! I cant say that I have ever tried Dry conditioner but I think as a combo it might be a really good thing! I am running out of my current dry shampoo and am tempted to try this duo but I will be honest its a little more pricey then most. I found this duo on Amazon for $21.62 HERE and free shipping which is a great deal, but it generally runs $21.99 each bottle HERE at Ulta. I suppose like anything else it is always worth it to search for deals, so I think if I decide to give this a whirl I will go to Amazon first! You should too!

Maybelline - The Nudes Eye Shadow Palette

Pretty right? As I have mentioned before because of my skin tone and hair color I tend to stick to earth tones for my makeup colors, especially eye shadow. I am always on the hunt for a great eye shadow and recently I have really been enjoying NYX shadows. This palette recently came to my attention and I was really impressed with the colors and variety. Its hard to find a palette where you may actually use all the colors but I think I could do a lot with this one. Maybelline is well known, their products are generally really great and the color pay off make their products worth every penny. This bad boy goes for $9.99 at Target HERE but I am sure you could find it at any local drug store as well. As of right now it is not in my local Target so I plan to take a look when I am home at the end of the month!

Boots No7 - Pampering Dry Oil

I love the idea of anything that moisturizers you skin while rejuvenating it. I have never tried No7 products but Tanya has and absolutely loves them. This caught my attention online some time ago and not only does it have great reviews, it smells like vanilla and white florals all while moisturizing your skin. The thing is, its hard to find something other then lotion to moisturize and often lotions can leave you feeling greasy! I use Mac Mineralize Charged Water Revitalizing Energy which I love but I do think this would give a different result I am interested to try. I believe you can find it in your local Target in the No7 section (generally near cosmetics). Unfortunately it is not coming up online so you will just have to Google it for a store near you!

That is it for a the products I am swooning over at this moment, really its just as much as I am going to share today, sometimes I think the list is endless but that works out well for making this kind of post a regular around here!

I hope you are all having a less rainy Wednesday then we are! Have a wonderful day!!

Products I'm Crushing On.. 01

Good Afternoon!

After a boring weekend due to crumby weather I really wanted to stop by and chit chat about something exciting! I gave it a lot of thought and truthfully what could be more exciting then NEW PRODUCTS! I have an ongoing list on my cell phone notepad of all the products I feel are a must try, that list is about 1000 items long... I kid you not! So today I thought I would stop by and share a few with you that I feel may soon enter my cabinet of goods (literally I have a cabinet in my bedroom full of goods, and a basket in my closet.. and some things that have made their way under the bathroom sink... basically I have shit everywhere!).

So where shall we start...

Bobbi Brown Long Lasting Eye Shadow - Sunlight Gold

This product is available in a pot I believe and in the form of a crayon like pen! I feel like the color is so warm and cozy and in my experience with my skin tone and eye color these types or warm colors work really well. I have fallen in love with cream shadows, they seem to be longer lasting and thus far in my experimenting I have been lucky that I haven't encountered one that creases. Cream shadows also work extremely well as a base color that you can use with a powder shadow over top that works to set it. I have been swooning over this perfect champagne color for quite some time, it has been easier to avoid on account that we don't have a Bobbi Brown here but we do have a Sephora. I really love Bobbi Brown products, their under eye concealer is a life saver!

If you are interested in checking out this product you can view it on the Bobbi Brown website HERE, it runs you about $28.00 which is pricey for eye shadow but like anything else you get what you pay for!

Lime Crime Lipstick - Coquette

Who doesn't need the perfect nude lipstick? I would have thought originally that nudes would make me look extremely washed out because of my skin tone but I was completely wrong. Not only do I love to rock a nude lip but when I find a lipstick that I love but might be a shade too dark, a swipe of a nude lipstick over it can be a perfect way to balance it out. As I have mentioned before I watch a lot of beauty vlogs and this lipstick is raved about! This is an opaque lipstick which not all nudes are and with fall coming up I feel like a warm color would be great.

Lime Crime is not overly advertised from what I can see but having heard such great things about the products I really don't think I would be disappointed with this product! You can order online HERE for $18.00, and peruse the other colors they offer and I also believe you can purchase their products at certain Sephora locations.

Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator

I have extremely sensitive skin and therefore choose an exfoliator that works can be a tough task! I use Lush's Mask of Magnaminty which technically isn't an exfoliator but works as such if when removing it you use a warm wash cloth and massage your skin with it. Exfoliating is important but finding a good one can be a challenge for anyone. I have heard rave reviews about this beauty and let me tell you I swoon over most of their products on account that they smell FANTASTIC! This has been highly recommended for sensitive skin as it is that of a light exfoliator. With a change of season around the corner (really its almost August, wtf?) it is that much more important to spend a little extra time on your skin because if it is anything like mine a change in weather can make it act out!

You can purchase this product HERE at Sephora for $35.00 which yes is quite pricey! I swear I never know if these products are truly worth the money we spend but the fact that everyone raves about it makes me believe there must be something to it! If you have it or have tried it, please let me know!

Lorac - Unzipped Eye Shadow Palette

So here's the thing, palettes are expensive and most likely you don't like all the colors and therefore won't use them! I am generally not much for sparkly eye shadows but in all of my beauty vlogger watching I have seem some really amazing looks done with this palette. I only wear warm earth tone colors on my eyes because that is what works best with my skin tone, you will never see me with blue eye shadow or anything of the sort, it just isn't me. I have been swooning over the Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay for a long time but didn't want to spend the money and this is a really great alternative.

I don't own a palette at all and I feel like its time I get with the times and I feel like this is the one to get. This guy is going to run you $40.00 on the Lorac website HERE and I do believe it is in select Sephora locations.

Fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream with Super 7 Complex

This is my current must have! People say often that you can never start too young with anti aging cream and let me tell you I agree with this! Right now whenever anyone talks about face cream this is the beauty they rave about and naturally that leaves me feeling its a must have! I have read so many reviews and watched so many videos on this I honestly cant wait to try it. Here's the thing, believe it or not I am a little cheap.. a little and spending $42.00 on this little jar makes me a little anxious! I have been assured that it truly lasts forever and let me just say, I should hope so!

I am currently finishing up my current face cream and I do believe this will be next on my list! Once I find something I like I usually stick with it but I swear sometimes I cant help but wonder if there is something better out there. If there is, I am convinced this is it and it will change my life! Notice how I did that? Made it irresistible to make it easier to spend the money!

If you haven't already tried this bad boy then you can purchase at your local Sephora or HERE online.

KMS California - Free Shape Quick Blow Dry

Who doesn't want something that is going to cut down your blow dry time? I DO! Honestly I have a lot of crazy, wild, curly hair and although I will admit I have a crappy blow dryer to dry my hair completely after getting out of the shower it takes me a good hair hour! That's without straightening it, products, make up or anything else! And you wonder why I don't wash my hair every single day? Anything that will speed that up is a hit in my book!

I have looked at a million products like this and none really get fantastic reviews, but let me tell you when I heard KMS California had an option I knew it would be aces! I use their Anti Humidity Seal Spray and I swear by it, their products are extremely reasonably priced compared to how much some people pay for products and best of all they actually do what they say they are suppose to! WINNING!

My trip to Ulta will have this babe in my bag! If you don't have an Utla near you.. well then I am sad for you, but I suppose you could order it online HERE as well for $19.99. DO IT!

So that's a peak into my must have product list, if you have products you are swooning about please do tell, I love to try new things! I think I will make this a regular post here on the blog because truth be told I crush on A LOT more products then I actually buy!

I hope you are all having a fabulous Monday, the weather seems to finally be looking up around here so I am going to go and take advantage!
